Friday, December 2, 2016 - Leather, dried cherries, tannins - this is very good esp considering the price and age. Quite impressed with this. Initially tasted more like a Barolo vs Barby. But, not quite the depth of a Barolo. The finish just not quite as long and mid palate also not quite as big. Having said that this is a great wine for $50 and I would say these have a long life ahead in this plateau. Popped and poured and this was singing right out of the bottle.
