Lots of fruit on the palate, but little complexity and an annoying touch of sweetness. Clean finish, with the barest hint of earthiness. Not certain what this is, but it's not my idea of a great Chianti. Drinkable, certainly, but not remarkable in any way. Very young, but I don't see much potential for development. At $24 a bottle, this is a disappointment. Didn't excite my friends, either. Give this one a pass.
