Thursday, July 1, 2010 - 55% Syrah, 45% Merlot. Surprisingly open and accessible now with a core of rich plummy, chocolate-tinged fruit and accents of herbs, chestnut and faint meaty notes. Very polished and finessed with grainy tannins and fine acids noticeable beneath the deep fruit, and serious length. Delicious stuff that's very fun to drink.
