Friday, December 21, 2012 - Nose of olive, pepper, beef, cherry, leather, plum, some slightly green mercaptan-type aromas, sandalwood, vanilla, chalk and chocolate. The mouth is creamy, with some slight raisin, blueberry, blackberry and pine
Nice fine grained tannins, good balance and long finish. Nice, interesting wine, shows the Syrah and the Merlot nicely. The raisin quality comes out more with air.
