Thursday, August 18, 2016 - The Rotating Dinners, I.5: Blinds from Around the World (Chicago, IL): Served double blind in a flight of pinot noir. This showed a massive tannic structure and a huge amount of extracted fruit that seemed quite new world to me (though I said that if this was a Burgundy, it must be a 2009). Lots of brown spice, but what's unbearable is that really prickly bit of alcohol on the back end. I was quite disappointed to see the label on the bottle.
