Very much the burgundy on the nose, light dark fruit, touch spicy and even an earthy touch. Open and very welcoming on the nose for sure. On the palate it was actually soft, round and a lot silkier on the tannin than we expected. Good 2009 fruit, darker at times. Could use some more length but very happy with it and a solid 92-93
