Thankfully the only consequence is that it tasted more mature than expected. It was super aromatic with strong but aged fruit. What kept me coming back for more, though, was this deftly controlled nip of VA on the nose—it jumped out of the glass so quickly that you weren’t even sure it was there. Excellent wine in spite of its questionable storage.
