Friday, October 23, 2009 - Dark purple color. Sort of restrained on the nose, but does offer aromas of cassis, coffee ground and, with coaxing, hints of blueberries. Nicely textured mouthfeel, especially on the attack with flavors of blueberries and coffee, which gives way to a very strong grip of tannins and acidity on the back end before a lingering, chewy finish.
