Saturday, February 29, 2020 - Still broad shouldered and very fit. Surprising lack of fruit in the palate given the nose. Medium plus acidity. Masculine yet a rounded finish. Old leather tobacco gravel. Velvet upfront with a lingering finish. Still structured and decent though delicate tannins. Feels French in the flavor profile but still tastes new world - not farmy. Fruit creeps in with time out of bottle. Feels like it still has a bit more time left if you wanted to let it ride in bottle.
