92 Points

Saturday, July 11, 2015 - Classic Dauvissat Forest (much more classical in fact than one would expect in 2009), with an extra bit of weight because of the warm vintage, but very good tension and energy. At present the ripeness is balanced out beautifully by the freshness of the acidity and there is even a hint of austerity. It should be able to last another 5 years, but I am not sure whether it will take the direction of the soft-ish 2006 or (hopefully) that of the broad but firm 2005.
