Saturday, February 1, 2020 - From 75cl, spongey cork wet and grey-coloured 1/3 from wine end, opened but not decanted 45 minutes, improved over following hour. Diluted citrus, a hint of iodine and saline; watery mid-palate; some acidic gain to the alarmingly short finish. Decent unexiting Chablis showing its age but with no obvious faults. If this came from the cooperative then it would all make sense, but it isn't at all what I hope for from Dauvissat (or at this price). Let's hope my 4 bottles of D.'s 2008 Forest aren't ALL premoxed, but this hope is not sufficent to make me want to buy white Burgundy again for cellaring. From now it'll just be the occasional single bottle for short-term consumption. 88P
