90 Points

Monday, October 6, 2014 - Full, tight, concentrated nose with some development. Dark fruit, oak, subtle spiciness, plum and blackberry. Flattering and inviting. Big and direct, but not vulgar or unbalanced.
Fullish, with soft tannins. Violet sweetness and sweet liquorice. Oaky and tasty. Some prunes in the dark fruit. Just a nice touch of mint. And actually quite good grip.
In it's particular style I liked this. It was not too sweet and not at all vulgar. Good Aussie Shiraz that benefit from the sligtly cooler climate in Clare I suppose.
