Friday, June 14, 2013 - Beautiful nose; sweet fruit and a sense of richness. As other tasters have noted, this wine is currently in a very good drinking window, showing much better than the last time I opened a bottle. Full bodied, with wonderful density and complexity of fruit. Cabernet is noticeable first with the weight, structure and nose. Then the sangiovese fruit becomes prominent; excellent transition. Merlot notes show up on the end and bind the whole wine together into the long, smooth finish. This is an extremely well put together wine that I think will improve over the next few years and drink very well for more after that.
