Instead the nose shows nicely focused lavendar, boysenberry with fig and a coffee chaser. I wish the palate had a bit more acidity with some gripping tannins, especially at this age. Thankfully, what’s there is sufficient to elevate this wines smooth flavor profile to quaffable status. Considering it’s price point and easy drinkability I vote this a definite qpr. Just don’t hold ‘em, drink ‘em up!
