Saturday, October 20, 2012 - shared with pat at selkirk manor. this wine has put on some weight since last tasted. would probably have developed even further with additional exposure to air. excellent cab from a state that is better known for its pinot. also, the herbs and green vegetables are more typical of california cab. will have to do some homework to find out if there are any purchased grapes here. very well made wine, none the less. crystaline sediment was adhering to the bottom of the cork. needed 30 minutes to open. better than last bottle. dark fruit, herbs, green vegetables, green pepper, olive. has more to go. full, rich mouthfeel. smooth, well integrated. enjoyed greatly.
