Saturday, March 31, 2007 - 2007 Passport to Woodinville weekend; 3/31/2007-4/1/2007 (Woodinville, WA): I do not know when this was bottled, but it was sold by the winery late in 2006. Nice dark ruby color. Nose of currants and some plums. Flavors were consistent with the nose, but added some minerality. Medium bodied wine with a nice mouthfeel and finish. This is always a fun bottle to drink, and a pretty decent value considering that it's juice that just didn't make it into Opus One.
