Monday, July 16, 2007 - Black cherry color, somewhat glass-coating which augurs lots of alcohol. Nose of tobacco, spicebox, and wod. Very muted flavors centered around grilled meat, with mostly resolved tannins and prominent alcohol that did blow off with time. A bit thin, but pleasant and fairly elegant, lacking depth and complexity. Purchased around 1999.
