Friday, April 25, 2014 - Grade EX. Decanted for 1 hour. Deep ruby-garnet. Rather un-happening on the nose with muted black fruit, some licorice, cherry notes and some funk. On the palate, great mouth feel, very focused fruit with ripe blackberries and cassis, well integrated, silky tannins, good structure with nice grip and well-balanced acidity, some bitter fruit on the long and dry finish. Very refined and elegant and very left-bank Bordeaux in style. Worth keeping longer.
