Saturday, November 1, 2014 - Deep garnet in the glass, approaching indigo in color. Explodes with fruit and floral aromas upon opening. Tasted out of the bottle initially and found complex, dark fruit, plum, cassis, dark cherry and cola on the palate. Decanted and drank the remainder over 90 minutes. As this opened, it began to reveal more complex layers of oak, cedar and espresso. Balanced tannins, huge mouth fill and a long lingering finish. A delicious find "off list" at Eddie Merlot's restaurant.
