Friday, January 6, 2017 - Fading color with some bricking at the edge. Nose of leather and cedar with a hint of cassis, very Bordeaux like. Palate has a silky mouthfeel with nice red fruit overtones and mineral it's showing through with strong tannins still but well integrated. The finish shows a nice limestone with a hit of sharpness and lingers for 15 seconds. Continued to develop in the glass over several hours. Drinking really nicely now for those who like aged Bordeaux.
