Sunday, June 17, 2018 - Air in bottle for 1 hr

Appearance: deep ruby, with beautiful legs

On nose : pronounced intensity, red fruit: ripe cherry, black fruit : cherry, plum, fairly good and heavy used of oak, sweet vanilla, smokiness, lichorice, tobacco, anise spiciness, as it went after 2 hrs, it turned to mint and graphite. It has a very complex aroma.

On palate : pronounced flavour intensity, high acidity, high chewable tannin, medium+ alcohol, fruitiness could be found in the front palate, herbs and woodiness on med palate, medium+ body and spiciness and savoury aftertaste, long finishing.

This wine seems having all the things u need separately but lack of integration. U just feel that all elements in the wine is scattering inside yr mouth but not in tune. Maybe the wine is too young. I would say this wine is not that supremely good as the name is. Not as robust as new world American and meanwhile, not as elegant as Bordeaux either. In this price, I would try some excellent new world instead.
