Wednesday, November 7, 2018 - Private Tasting (w East Coast Opus rep)...This wine is a combination of 3 different vintages of lots not used in the Opus One bottling. Quite good and different at 91% cab vs the Opus One with a usual 79%+ cab; yet each still have the 5 Bordeaux grapes utilized in the ratio. Fruity, flavorful, ready to go now with punch and finesse paired so well in Opus elegance, bigger upfront wine less complex than the regular bottling, but not at any negativity when comparing and the price-points of each make sense for they are different wines. Wish the price was better as it was real good and could drink this much with pleasure.
