Saturday, April 27, 2019 - I've been wanting to try this for some time and finally had a chance at a The Print Works restaurant in Greensboro, NC. This is a NV wine, but I am posting under 2018 since I assume this is the latest blend. We popped and poured, leaving it to breathe for about 30 minutes. The wine is sophisticated, with pleasant layers of dark fruit, leather, and earth. The tannins are smooth and well integrated. There is enough acidity to make it food friendly. It's really a lovely wine. But here's the rub -- I can think of a dozen wines that I like just as well or better for less than half the price. Bottom line: I enjoyed it, I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't be buying it again.
