Wednesday, December 30, 2020 - An excellent example of California red, full but not overblown. Caramelized black fruit on the nose accented with vanilla and anisette. Very smooth mouthfeel, viscous but not syrupy. The expected blackcurrant dominance. Good balance between acidity, fruit, and tannic structure. A pleasant finish with grape lees and a woody dryness.
