Sunday, August 25, 2019 - Quite blood red (brown tinged) in the glass. My first thought was a touch worried but Barbaresco is always quite light in colour. Lovely fruit driven Nebbiolo nose, sweet cherry and a touch of violets. Feels mature but maybe it can develop further? Honestly for me why wait- it’s fantastic now. That said, it gathered weight over two days, tannins not even worth mentioning.
