Saturday, May 27, 2017 - Keller Open Afterparty (Weingut Keller): After the last dessert KP Keller asked David for another "light sip" and he blinded us with this stunner. It has everything you've want from a Spätlese. Sometimes I had my problems with J.J. Prüm, but when they are very good like here, not many producers in the Mosel could keep up with them. A super elegant nose with white peach, garden herbs, white flowers and just a hint of sweetness. Like a animating sea breeze. On the palate this flows down like a alpine brook. So fresh, easy drinking with just a hint of creaminess. Long finish. An absolutely incredible showing. Unfortunately the Auction wines from J.J. are very expensive.
