Wednesday, August 4, 2010 - Beautiful, brilliant cherry red color, with violet tint that adds so much to the enjoyment and experience. Soft cherry cotton candy aromas, with secondary cranberry aromas, and very subtle red pepper. All in perfect composition and intensity. Full bodied, very elegant and long, very harmonious, showing elderflower, eucalyptus, all encompassed within dense dark cherry flavors, which makes for a syrupy, fine liquor sensation. Ends very explosive and prolonged, showing wild berries and raspberry flavors, and certain spiciness. Soft, beautiful tannins. Very elegant and tall, showing the terroir of Peumo, the character of Carmenere, and the expertise of the winemaker. Kudos!
