Friday, February 8, 2013 - Garnet with ruby hues and medium viscosity in the glass. Rustic nose of raspberry, mint, herbs and sandalwood with a touch of candied cherry. Med-full body with explosive red fruit, cherry, boysenberry, hide, olive and earth on the palate. Secondary sunflower and singed tobacco. Moderately complex with delicate nuances around its corners. Striking balance of bold, layered fruit and textures. Long finish. Very impressive.
