Friday, October 27, 2023 - Wednesday night steak night: Another auction purchase. Deep purple. Lovely nose - lots going on but again, clean as a whistle, lots of zip - cranberry maybe, some honeysuckle, a vague hint of forest floor. The palate is still fully there - the tannins are noticeable but in line, the acid is bracing, the structure is very much to the fore but it holds the fruit up well. This was absolutely ready to go but good grief more life in it yet. Yummers.
