Saturday, January 28, 2012 - Acker auction tasting (Chicago, IL): Really inky. Very concentrated nose, with some soy sauce notes as well as notes of sour cherry and other red fruits. Very big and ripe on the palate as well. It's enjoyable but there just anything else to keep interest. Gets cloying.
