Friday, February 6, 2015 - Pale golden color. Expressive nose of ripe pear, apple, stony minerality, lemon zest and a touch of smoke. On the palate there are mainly ripe sweet pear again, apple, some citrus notes and some flintstone/minerality. It's medium-full bodied with medium-high acidity, a touch of sweetness and very good length. Ends with a tiny little bit of bitterness (which I like). A very beautiful Riesling that still feels pretty young.
