Sunday, June 12, 2011 - Notes from day 2.
Nice dark red to purple color.
Nose of beautiful barnyard, earth, red raspberry, little sandlewood.
Palate of red cherry, cranberry skin, forest loam, mushroom, and a little spice.
Finish was a little above average in length and a solid mouthfeel and good acidity to boot.
Overall the wine is everything you could want in a base level pinot from WV, Tyson killed it.
