88 Points

Wednesday, March 2, 2011 - A nice maroon color. Red and black fruits, chocolate, baking spices, alcohol, and white pepper on the nose. Medium to full body with solid, slightly gritty tannins and good acidity. A bit rough and rustic on the palate, but it seems like all the components are there and should come together with some cellar time. Don't touch for at least a year. Tough to score, 88 now, potential of low 90s in the future.
