Tuesday, March 21, 2006 - The intense color and thick texture of this wine reminds me of a light Sauternes. Wonderful citrus, flower, honey, and earthy spice components really make this a monster white. Definitely a ripe fat wine with a touch of heat but there is acidity present and the balance is good. The complexity, waxy mouthfeel, and honeyed finish are truly compelling. Maybe I just really like the Copain whites but I think this is a stunning elixir.
