Friday, November 11, 2016 - Bright, garnet red, little evidence of ageing in the colour.. Agree the barnyard notes in the nose. Soft, well integrated tannins, sweet, flavours of plum almost prune with enough acidity to prevent flabbiness. Not particularly complex and little by way of secondary flavours? Really like the wine. I don't know if I have just caught this before it enters a quiet period, with more complexity to come but tempted to drink up as it really pleases. Case of 2010 also so will sample that too.
