93 Points

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - By the first sniff of this exquisit effort you can tell you are approaching meticulous winemaking. The nose is full of sun-warm strawberries, dark fruit and subtle lovely oak, while the palate is medium-bodied yet lush and rather flirty. However, the most striking feature of this effort is its purity of dark Grenache fruit. The wine is indeed young, but still it appears to me as very well-balanced with only a slight whiff of heat. There is no reason to hold off on drinking this effort today, but I guess it will benefit from a few years of cellaring. (score is 93-94)
