Sunday, May 1, 2011 - The nose is full, showing scents of green pepper, blackberries, and bacon. The green pepper and blackberries both deliver fully on the palate. This wine has a very juicy feel to it! BIG structure rolls in later. The tannins and acidity are balanced with each other, but they dominate the other characteristics as the finish sets in. This has lots of aging potential, and it needs that time for everything to really work together.
