Thursday, October 30, 2014 - The Greatest Dry Whites, A fine wine tutored tasting with Mark Pardoe MW (Berry Bros & Rudd, London): We love this wine. Every time we have come across it, it has been a joy (rated 93-95) and today it did not fail us either. Granted we understand this is not a wine everyone would rank so high in their lists.
Quite a dark yellow hue here. Oxidative, light vanilla from the oak in its elevage. A product of slow oxidation and smells like an old wine but on the palate it is a vibrant complex beast. Lemony, nutty feel and simply a mesmerising and super unique wine. 94
