Saturday, June 10, 2017 - dark purple color. Nose like a sherry/vermouth, high alcohol like a fortified wine with some oxidized/herbal flavors, I was stunned to find out that it was just a big still wine. Palate fruity with dark morello cherries and some of that herbal/honey-like character I associate with a vermouth. Overall enjoyable if polarizing. Enjoyable now with the proper mindset. 90 pts
