Sunday, January 18, 2009 - Outstanding port which is very familiar to me from multiple previous bottles, this one enjoyed earlier this evening with Kim and our dinner club as dessert wine with rich chocolate cake after great broiled beef tenderloing tip dinner. An outstanding entry-level tawny port, great buy for the price, great QPR. Rich but not cloyingly sweet, great bouquet with flavors of figs, prunes, raisins, cherry, maple, caramel and some toffee with a full bodied mid-palate and pleasant afer taste. Highly recommend this for lovers of tawny port.
