Tuesday, May 27, 2008 - one of the best wines ive ever had. this exhibits lovely dark fruit nose, viscous heavy mouthfeel laden with fruit oak and tannin all in balance. very new world for italian wine, but not overly sweet, fake or cloying in the slightest. best of all is a long evolving finish leaving you wanting more. was great on it's own
and with amazing italian food at tre venezie in pasadena, our server their recommended this. well worth the $200. the 99 was also killer but not quite as special.
