Sunday, May 28, 2017 - Decanted for about an hour and beginning to open. A dark, brooding wine, impenetrable purple to the eye, with blue-black fruits, tar, spice, a touch of green pepper, and significant acidity to provide some freshness. Long finish. Probably much better in five years.
