Friday, October 19, 2018 - 1 hour decant and drank in the parking lot before a concert (George Thorogood - a/k/a "Bad to the Bone"). Nice slightly opaque purple. Primarily berry driven (blackberries and blueberries) with notes of slate, baker's cocoa and cloves. Still some heat from the alcohol and pretty high acidity. Tannins are soft and well integrated. Medium plus body with a good amount of sediment at the end of the bottle. This aged much better than George. About 92-93.
