Saturday, August 15, 2015 - The fruit is receding now, subtle but very complex. The wine still possesses generous acidity and tannins, along with some tobacco, oak and caramel flavors, and a distinctly Cote-Rotie nose. It worked well with our rare grilled ribeye.
The tertiary flavors are only starting to emerge. I think I'll sit on my remaining bottles for a couple of years.
