Saturday, May 17, 2008 - Kdawg's Birthday 80's Bordeaux dinner (Cotes Du Rhone, Chicago, IL): Darkest in color so far. Huge powerful nose of tobacco, chocolate, and dirt mixed with black and red summer fruits. Great balance and feel. Long fruity and cedary finish. This wine has a lot more upside and had years to go before it reaches its peak. Fabulous wine.
