Monday, June 6, 2022 - Medium-pale red color with medium transparency. Red-fruited nose of strawberry, raspberry, and a bit of cherry. A bit of moss/sous bois shows up in the background. Palate has interesting mix of red berry fruit up front with some rhubarb, fennel, sous bois, truffle, and maybe a bit of coffee in the background. The coffee notes give me some pause as I associate them with oxidation but this holds well in the glass over several hours. Drinking well to my tastes. Drink at leisure.
