Saturday, February 10, 2024 - ABV: 12.5%. The nose displays a lot of forest floor and roasted herbs with some fruit characteristics hidden underneath this herbaceous front. On the mid-palate, there's a smooth mouthfeel with well-integrated acidity, lifting the fruit to exhibit a black cherry cola-like profile towards a lengthy and pleasant finish. This is a solid wine and with such a low ABV, it should be able to cellar for another decade. If you're planning to open your bottle soon, I'd recommend decanting it for at least an hour to "wake up" the fruit.
