Thursday, October 15, 2015 - Originally a Bordeaux blend, this Bolgheri has evolved into a 100% Cabernet Franc masterpiece. Young and vibrant, full bodied with plum/cherry/blackberry/raspberry, espresso and chocolate on the nose followed up with a quite similar taste. Smooth and well balanced this SuperTuscan is drinking well now and should continue for another 10 years. Time to stock a few more in the cellar. Thanks Jack for sharing this and giving me the opportunity to taste my first La Macchiole.
