Friday, May 8, 2015 - Basically undrinkable when I first opened it. High acid in the finish, totally dry without much fruit. However, I decanted it, and after several hours it opened up showing wild tart cherries predominant in the fruit, although it is limited relative to terroir (minerals) and lots of tannin in the finish. Best with food. I would say it is now at its peak or somewhat beyond as the fruit is fading.
