This bottle was not as stunning as the prior bottle-- but still outstanding. Similar characteristics of pineapple, apricot, minerals, acidity, and for all its complexity and richness, it conveys lightness and long finish. Second day, it was fading, although very good.

I tasted with friends over two nights recently. My first thought, "Neither I nor my friends deserve this wine!" First night: nose of apricot, herbal tea, palate of balanced apricot, honeysuckle, quinine and other minerals, long, long finish. Second night: nose leaning toward pineapple, palate of pineapple/apricot and botrytis, slightly less fruit on day 2 but breadth of flavor, minerals more focused, and long finish. Both nights: my friends and I were speechless, as if staring into the glass contained some inner truth. It tastes VERY young nonetheless. I KNOW it will improve with time, but how much better can it get???

Drank over 3 nights, and definitely best on third night.
Day#1: somewhat disjointed, more fruit, less mineral. Merely excellent.
Day #2: more balance, apricot, honeysuckle, minerals, acidity... delicious.
Day #3: superb, apricot, honeysuckle, minerals, quinine, herbal tea, acidity.
